Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations in the kiln refractory plant. The role ensures production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and proper manpower utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities in the plant.
- Ensure smooth operation of kiln, batch mill, press, nodulizer, and related production equipment.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Maintain product quality as per company standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Store, and Dispatch departments for smooth workflow.
- Monitor raw material availability for uninterrupted production.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
- Maintain production reports, shift reports, and daily output records.
- Identify production issues and coordinate for quick resolution.
- Ensure minimum downtime and maximum operational efficiency.
- Monitor wastage and implement cost-control measures.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and 5S practices in production area.
- Enforce safety guidelines and company policies on the shop floor.
- Train and guide workers for better productivity and performance.

Educational Qualification

- Good knowledge of plant operations and process improvement
