Job Title – Interior Designer Intern
Experience – 0-3 months
Duration – 3-6 months
Location – Ghitorni, New Delhi
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Interior Designer Intern to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for interior design, strong design aesthetics, and a willingness to learn. The intern will assist senior designers in concept development, presentations, material selection, vendor coordination, and day-to-day design execution activities.
Key Responsibilities
Design Support
- Assist senior designers in developing design concepts and space planning solutions.
- Support the preparation of mood boards, concept presentations, and design proposals.
- Help in creating design drawings and visual presentations.
Technical Skills
- Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist in developing 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp and 3ds Max.
- Support the design team with drafting, layouts, and presentation drawings.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials, samples, and quotations.
- Assist in material sourcing and maintaining material libraries.
- Support the team in tracking project requirements and design deliverables.
Design Execution
- Assist in day-to-day project execution and design-related tasks.
- Help ensure design details are communicated accurately to vendors and contractors.
- Support site visits and documentation when required.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
- Good understanding of interior design principles, color schemes, materials, and aesthetics.
- Strong visual and creative thinking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
Educational Qualification
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and final-year students are welcome to apply.
