Key Responsibilities:
1. General Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and monthly closings.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and intercompany balances.
- Monitor cash flow, fund requirements, and perform variance analysis.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Review vendor bills, ensure proper classification, and process payments as per credit terms.
- Ensure timely invoicing to customers and monitor collections.
- Reconcile customer/vendor balances regularly and resolve discrepancies.
3. Asset Accounting
- Ensure proper accounting for fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and physical verification.
4. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file monthly and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, etc.) and handle GST reconciliations.
- Deduct and deposit TDS and file quarterly returns (Form 24Q, 26Q).
- Assist in income tax return preparation and handle advance tax computations.
- Maintain updated knowledge of applicable tax laws and ensure compliance with regulatory changes.
5. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and provide necessary data and explanations.
- Support preparation of audit schedules and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and processes.
6. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare periodic financial reports for management (e.g., cash flow forecasts, expense reports, profitability analysis).
- Monitor department budgets and highlight variances with insights.
7. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain organized records of invoices, vouchers, challans, contracts, and other financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards (IND-AS/IGAAP), and statutory requirements (e.g., Companies Act).
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, MIS reports).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
