We're looking for an experienced Manager – Accounts & Finance to take ownership of our accounting and finance function.
Role Summary
The ideal candidate must have strong, hands-on experience with Zoho Books and be capable of independently managing day-to-day accounting operations from Day 1.
Zoho Books experience and immediate availability are mandatory. Candidates with only basic Zoho Books exposure or primarily Tally-based experience will not be considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesZoho Books & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations independently through Zoho Books.
- Handle AP, AR, General Ledger, invoicing, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate accounting records and timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Generate financial and management reports from Zoho Books.
- Review accounting discrepancies and improve finance processes.
Finance, MIS & Compliance
- Prepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and vendor payments.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with CAs, auditors, banks, and external consultants.
Inventory & Controls
- Manage inventory accounting, valuation, and stock reconciliation.
- Review purchase transactions, vendor invoices, and costing.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Store teams.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Strengthen financial controls and recommend process improvements or automation.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the Accounts team.
- Allocate work, review deliverables, and ensure accounting and compliance deadlines are met.
- Work closely with HR, Operations, Sales, and Leadership.
Mandatory Requirements
- Advanced hands-on Zoho Books experience – Mandatory
- Current or recent independent working experience on Zoho Books
- Minimum 7 years of relevant Accounts & Finance experience
- B.Com – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Experience in AP, AR, bank reconciliation, General Ledger, and financial closing
- Strong MIS reporting and financial analysis skills
- Inventory accounting and stock reconciliation experience
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Immediate joiner
- Willing to work from Koramangala, Bangalore – Work from Office
M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage. Experience in retail, trading, manufacturing, consumer products, or inventory-driven businesses is preferred.
