Role Overview:
The Quality Engineer with expertise in U Stamp manufacturing processes for pressure vessels and heat exchangers plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards. With a strong understanding of ASME codes and certifications, this professional will oversee quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and technical requirements during production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the quality control process for U Stamp-certified pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
- Ensure adherence to ASME standards and industry regulations throughout the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to identify and rectify deviations.
- Inspection & Testing:
- Perform detailed inspections and testing of materials, components, and finished products to meet U Stamp requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to verify that processes align with engineering specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive inspection records, including test reports and compliance documentation.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process optimization and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement in quality management.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure that all quality documentation, including certification and traceability records, is accurately maintained.
- Support the preparation for audits and ensure compliance with ASME and other relevant standards.
