Your Next Career Move
As a Test Engineer Intern, you'll work alongside experienced QA engineers, developers, product managers, and designers to help ensure our platform delivers a high-quality experience to customers worldwide. You'll gain practical experience in software testing, automation, Agile development, and modern cloud-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and executing test cases for web applications and APIs.
- Learn and contribute to manual and automated testing efforts.
- Support the QA team in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Help develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand feature requirements and expected behavior.
- Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing.
- Assist in monitoring product quality metrics and test coverage.
- Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and product quality.
- Learn industry best practices in software quality assurance and test automation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with web applications and software development fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress through coursework, projects, or self-learning.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with personal, academic, or open-source software projects.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, or cloud technologies is a plus.
