About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our reputable client,
with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience, as a Finance Controller. This role is
ideal for a candidate with a strong background in accounting, taxation, auditing, and
financial reporting, particularly within a CA firm environment. The ideal candidate
should have a thorough understanding of Indian financial regulations and
Demonstrate strong leadership and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including finalisation of accounts,
ledger scrutiny, and monthly closings.
Prepare and review monthly/quarterly financial statements, cash flow
reports, MIS, and variance analysis.
Oversee statutory, internal, and tax audits – including planning,
coordination, and closure.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory
compliances.
Handle tax assessments, refund processes, and regulatory notices.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial controls.
Review and maintain internal control systems to ensure financial accuracy
and compliance.
Assisting in the preparation of final and operational reports requested by the
top management
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders on financial strategy, budgeting,
and planning.
Stay updated with amendments in tax laws, Companies Act, and other
relevant statutes.
Guide and supervise junior accountants and articled assistants.
Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as
required.
Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
4 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputed CA firm.
Strong working knowledge of Indian GAAP, Direct & Indirect Taxation, and
Auditing Standards.
Excellent financial modelling, reporting, and analytical skills.
Proficient in ZOHO Software, Tally, MS Excel, and accounting/taxation
software.
Ability to work independently and under pressure during deadlines.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Exposure to client handling, reporting to senior finance leadership or
partners.
Preferred Qualities:
Experience with corporate finance roles for SME or startup clients.
Familiarity with company law compliance, ROC filings, and FEMA-related
matters is a plus.
Solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail and integrity.
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
