About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Fidar Imex Private Limited. The role involves managing day-to-day accounts, statutory compliances, and financial documentation specific to import and export transactions. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of taxation, return filings, and accounting software, with a strong background in handling transactions related to international trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting operations (sales, purchase, expenses, journal entries).
- Prepare and manage invoices, bills of entry, and export/import documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Assist in GST calculations, filing, and compliance.
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable and follow up for outstanding payments.
- Coordinate with logistics, operations, and documentation teams.
- Maintain records of import duty, freight, and logistics expenses.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports as required by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an import & export company.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and general accounting principles.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, ITR filings, GST returns & compliances.
- Experience in handling import/export accounting, foreign currency transactions, and documentation.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with attention to detail.
