We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Manager – Business Development to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and increasing room, banquet, conference, and food & beverage revenues. The role requires a proactive sales professional with excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, government, travel, MICE, and leisure segments.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term business partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and key stakeholders.
- Promote hotel rooms, banquet facilities, meeting spaces, and F&B offerings to maximize revenue.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and property presentations.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and rate agreements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Revenue, Reservations, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM records, and MIS reports.
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts, performance reports, and business development plans.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular client engagement and post-event follow-ups.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in hospitality sales/business development, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
