Job Purpose
The Project HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR activities for assigned logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or customer project operations. The role focuses on manpower planning, recruitment, employee engagement, statutory compliance, attendance management, performance support, and industrial relations to ensure smooth business operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
- Manage manpower planning and fulfillment for project operations.
- Coordinate recruitment drives for blue-collar and white-collar employees.
- Conduct employee onboarding and induction programs.
- Ensure timely joining and deployment of manpower.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.
- Ensure employee data accuracy in HRMS.
Attendance & Payroll Coordination
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and absenteeism.
- Validate payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
- Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure timely salary processing.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances.
- Conduct employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
- Support retention initiatives and drive employee satisfaction.
- Build positive employee relations across project sites.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
- Coordinate statutory requirements related to PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, and CLRA.
- Support audits and maintain statutory registers and records.
Performance & HR Analytics
- Track HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, absenteeism, and productivity.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR dashboards.
- Support performance management and developmental initiatives.
Industrial Relations
- Work closely with operations teams to maintain harmonious industrial relations.
- Handle disciplinary actions, misconduct cases, and policy violations as per company procedures.
- Coordinate with contractors and manpower vendors.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/MSW in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or related field.
- 3-7 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, or project-based operations preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, and HR reporting.
