Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities related to real estate projects, including site expenses, client payments, vendor bills, taxation, and financial reporting. The role requires coordination with sales, site supervisors, and management to ensure accurate financial records.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance
- Maintain books of accounts for real estate projects
- Record daily transactions: receipts, payments, journal entries
- Handle client payment records, advances, installments & balance tracking
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Manage cash flow and petty cash
Billing & Documentation
- Prepare invoices, payment receipts, debit/credit notes
- Maintain agreement values, payment schedules & outstanding reports
- Coordinate with legal/admin team for agreements and documentation
Vendor & Site Accounting
- Maintain vendor/supplier ledgers
- Verify site expenses, purchase bills & contractor payments
- Coordinate with site staff for expense verification.
- Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST entries, returns & reconciliation
Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial statements & MIS reports
- Provide project-wise profitability reports
- Support management with financial data & analysis
- TDS calculation, deduction & return filing
- Assist in income tax preparation & audits
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- Minimum 2–5 years experience (Real Estate preferred)
- Knowledge of Tally / ERP / accounting software
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS & basic income tax
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good coordination & communication skills
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality & integrity
