We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Project Manager to oversee our construction projects (government) in south Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of general civil construction and engineering, extensive experience in the tender process, and a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple government construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Tendering & Documentation: Oversee the end-to-end tender process, including technical bids, cost estimation, and compliance with government norms (PWD/CPWD).
- Site Management: Overseeing daily site management, manage labor subcontractors, and ensure strict adherence to safety and engineering specifications.
- Liaison: Coordinate with government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and billing.
- Resource Planning: Manage procurement of materials and equipment, optimizing costs while maintaining project timelines.
- Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality check standards and ensure all works align with government norms.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering (Preferred) or Diploma in Civil Engineering with exceptional experience.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of core experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of government contracting industry, e-tendering processes, and government billing procedures.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Language: Proficiency in Malayalam and English is essential for local site coordination and documentation.
Compensation:
- Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹65,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and proven track record).
