Technical Support Engineer – Industrial IoT
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer calls, emails, and WhatsApp support for technical issues and service requests.
- Provide first-level technical support for Industrial IoT devices and cloud applications.
- Register, track, and close customer complaints and service requests.
- Coordinate with field service engineers for installations, preventive maintenance, and breakdown visits.
- Maintain service reports, customer records, AMC details, and support documentation.
- Monitor pending service calls and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain inventory of service spare parts, replacement devices, SIM cards, and accessories.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and R&D teams for issue resolution.
- Assist customers with device configuration, troubleshooting, firmware updates, and cloud portal support.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly service reports and MIS.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt and professional communication.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Technical Support, Customer Service, Service Coordination, or Industrial IoT support.
- Basic knowledge of electronic circuits, IoT devices, GSM/GPS/Wi-Fi communication, and networking.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong customer handling and relationship management skills.
- Good documentation, reporting, and inventory management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer requests simultaneously.
- Positive attitude, patience, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Salary: As per company standards and candidate qualifications.
