About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Head to lead and manage all quality control functions in our chemical manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, laboratory excellence, and continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Head and oversee the Quality Control department and laboratory operations.
- Establish, implement, and maintain QC systems, SOPs, and quality standards
- Ensure testing and release of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, statutory, and customer requirements.
- Lead investigations related to deviations, OOS, non-conformances, and complaints.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and EHS for quality and process improvements.
- Prepare and review COAs, batch records, and QC documentation.
- Manage audits, regulatory inspections, and customer quality reviews.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate QC team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization.
Qualification :
- M.Sc in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry or B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory management.
- Thorough understanding of ISO, GMP, and regulatory standards.
- Exposure to audits and regulatory inspections.
Experience & Skills :
- Minimum 10–15 years of QC experience in chemical manufacturing
- At least 5 years in a leadership / managerial role
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional coordination abilities
