Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to drive sales and business development for Material Testing Equipment in the Chennai region. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in selling Universal Testing Machines (UTM), Hardness Testing Machines, and other capital equipment to Government organizations, private industries, and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.
- Identify and appoint new dealers within the territory.
- Ensure timely payment collections and adherence to payment terms.
- Maintain knowledge of product specifications, industry standards, and market trends.
- Promote concept selling while ensuring business profitability.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution and customer support.
- Monitor sales funnel and consistently generate quality leads.
Required Skills
- Experience in selling Material Testing Equipment / Capital Equipment.
- Strong understanding of Universal Testing Machines, Hardness Testing Machines, and related products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented.
- Ability to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
