Position Overview:
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our growing team. If you have a proven track record in freight sales or operations and want to take your career to the next level with better-than-industry pay and a supportive team environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers
- Secure and negotiate freight rates with carriers
- Manage the full lifecycle of freight movement: quoting, booking, tracking, and delivery
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues
- Maintain accurate records of all freight activities using internal systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a freight broker or in a similar logistics role
- Strong carrier network and knowledge of OTR/Drayage/Intermodal lanes
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Experience with freight software (TMS, load boards, etc.) is a plus
