Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Designer for a hand tool manufacturing company. The candidate should have experience in designing hand tool components, preparing drawings, and programming in WorkNC software. The role requires knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks for product design, development, and machining support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design hand tools, dies, fixtures, and components as per production requirements.
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Create CNC programs using WorkNC software.
- Coordinate with production and tool room teams for design execution.
- Modify existing designs based on customer or production requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
- Maintain design records, drawings, and revision history.
- Support new product development and process improvement activities.
- Troubleshoot design and machining-related issues.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of WorkNC programming software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Understanding of CNC machining and tooling processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of hand tool manufacturing processes preferred.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in design and CNC programming preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in hand tool or forging industry.
- Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and production processes.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Salary
- Negotiable as per experience and skills.
Working Location
Pay: ₹35,000.99 - ₹60,000.60 per month
