Job Title: Behavior Therapist
Location: Riya Child Learning Center , Hyderabad
Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavior Therapist to join our special education team. The successful candidate will assess, design, and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with developmental, cognitive, or emotional challenges, helping them build essential life, social, and academic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to ensure consistency across settings
- Provide training and guidance to teaching staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies
- Support students with autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, or other special needs
- Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or related field
- BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification preferred
- Prior experience working with children with special needs
- Strong communication, patience, and observational skills
- Knowledge of ABA techniques and behavior modification strategies
