ABOUT THE ROLE
Ombre is looking for an experienced Photo Editor to take ownership of culling, color, and retouching across our wedding photography deliverables. You'll work closely with our QC lead to make sure every album and gallery meets the consistency and finish our clients expect at a premium price point.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
— Cull, color grade, and retouch wedding photographs to Ombre's established visual style.
— Maintain consistency of tone, skin tones, and color across an entire wedding's shoot — spanning multiple functions and photographers.
— Work within QC standards set by Darshika and iterate on feedback efficiently.
— Manage multiple wedding projects in parallel against Asana timelines without missing delivery windows.
— Flag technical or shoot-quality issues early, before they become editing bottlenecks.
— Mentor and review work from junior editors where required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
— 3+ years of dedicated photo editing experience, ideally in wedding or event photography.
— Strong command of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, including batch workflows and advanced retouching.
— A refined, consistent eye for color and tone — able to match a house style rather than impose a personal one.
— Proven ability to handle high volumes (multiple weddings, thousands of frames) without quality slipping.
— Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable taking direction from QC.
WORK DETAILS
6-day work week, bi-weekly (2 Saturdays off every month). Reporting hours are fixed but flexible in practice — this is a deliverable-driven, deadline-first environment.
Wedding season (Oct–Feb) will require longer hours and weekend work. All overtime during season is compensated with equivalent time off in the off-season.
On-site only for the first year. Remote/hybrid work may be considered after 12 months, based on role and performance.
