Project Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) – US Construction Projects

About the Role
Intec Infra is a trusted backend operations partner for one of the largest and most innovative construction companies in the United States. Our Global Delivery Center (Gurugram) supports high-profile infrastructure and commercial construction projects across the US.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Project Engineers who want to move beyond design/modeling and work on real-time project engineering, coordination, and construction management for large-scale international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle construction documentation including:
- Submittals
- Change Orders
- RFIs
- Quantity Take-Offs
- Estimation
- Project Coordination
- Coordinate daily with US-based Project Managers and project teams.
- Review construction drawings and specifications.
- Support project planning, scheduling, estimating, and resource planning.
- Ensure project quality standards and documentation compliance.
- Maintain document management systems and project records.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates.
- Build strong working relationships with India and US stakeholders.
- Support internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Mandatory Requirements
- 5–8 years of construction/project engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Mandatory experience in BIM and Revit with exposure to construction documentation and project coordination.
- Experience handling at least two of the following:
- Submittals
- Change Orders
- RFIs
- Quantity Take-Offs
- Estimation
- Project Coordination
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Comfortable working directly with US clients on daily coordination calls.
- Willing to work from the Gurugram office five days a week.

Experience with one or more of the following:

- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Navisworks
- Civil 3D
