Role Overview
We are looking for a business development professional with experience in polymer additives such as waxes, stearates, processing aids, fillers, lubricants, and specialty additives. The candidate should have prior experience in a trading or manufacturing company catering to plastics, polymers, masterbatch, PVC, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development for polymer additives across plastics and polymer processing industries
- Develop and manage relationships with manufacturers, compounders, converters, and distributors
- Identify new customers, applications, and market opportunities
- Coordinate with technical and procurement teams for customer approvals and commercialization
- Handle pricing discussions, negotiations, and order closures
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and new additive requirements
- Support collection follow-ups and account management
Preferred Background
- 3–10 years of experience in polymer additives, specialty chemicals, plastics raw materials, or related sectors
- Prior experience in trading or manufacturing companies dealing with additives/waxes/stearates preferred
- Strong industry network in plastics, PVC, masterbatch, packaging, or polymer sectors
- Strong commercial and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel for customer visits and business expansion
