Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation and Duration:* Develops and executes a content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and target audience.
* Creates original, engaging, and visually appealing content across various social media platforms.
* Curates relevant and shareable content from reputable sources to supplement company-generated material.
2. Community Management:
* Monitors and responds to comments, questions, and messages from followers across social media channels.
* Builds relationships with followers and fosters a positive online community.
* Uses social listening tools to track brand mentions and industry trends.
3. Social Media Analytics and Reporting:
* Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and conversions.
* Analyzes data to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategy.
* Prepares and presents regular reports on social media performance to stakeholders.
4. Brand Monitoring and Reputation Management:
* Monitors social media for mentions of the company and its products or services.
* Responds promptly to negative or inaccurate information to protect the company's reputation.
* Works with other departments to ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels.
5. Influencer Marketing:
* Identifies and collaborates with influencers who align with the company's brand values.
* Manages influencer campaigns to reach a wider audience and generate brand awareness.
6. Social Media Advertising:
* Develops and executes targeted social media advertising campaigns.
* Optimizes campaigns to maximize reach and return on investment (ROI).
Overall Process
1. Coordinate with Teammates
- Photographer: Plan photo shoots and ensure timely delivery of high-quality images for social media.
- Editor: Ensure all content (images, videos, posts) is reviewed and polished before going live.
- Content Writer: Collaborate on developing engaging and brand-appropriate copy for posts, captions, and stories.
- Graphics Designer: Work together on designing visually appealing social media graphics that align with the brand’s aesthetic.
2. Prepare a Schedule
- Develop a content calendar for all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Set deadlines for content submissions from team members.
- Schedule regular team meetings to review progress, discuss new ideas, and resolve any issues.
- Account for key dates, holidays, or events relevant to the brand and plan content around them.
3. Give Timelines for All Mediums
- Set weekly or monthly timelines for the team to follow for each type of content:
- Photo/Video content: Establish timelines for shooting, editing, and final approval.
- Written content: Plan timelines for drafting, revisions, and approvals.
- Graphics/Design: Set deadlines for initial drafts, revisions, and final versions.
- Post scheduling: Define specific times and dates for publishing content across different platforms to ensure consistent engagement.
