About Us
Join Halodoc and help shape the future of healthcare!
Halodoc is Indonesia's leading health-tech platform, headquartered in Jakarta with innovation hubs in Bali and Bangalore. Ten years in and backed by $100M in Series D funding, we connect close to 20 million monthly active users about 8% of Indonesia's population with licensed doctors, insurance, labs, and pharmacies, all from one app. We're the #1 healthcare app in the country, rated 4.7+ on both Android and iOS, and recognised with the Forbes Indonesia Choice Award and Galen Growth's Most Innovative HealthTech Startup in Asia.
None of that happens without the people who keep the engine running behind the scenes. Our HR Operations team is the quiet infrastructure that lets 1,500+ Halodoc employees across Bangalore and Jakarta show up, get paid, get supported, and do their best work every single day.
The Role
We're looking for an HR Operations Associate who processes the way our engineers treat code: something to be built cleanly, tested rigorously, and improved constantly. You'll be the go-to person for the everyday moments that make up an employee's experience onboarding, payroll, benefits, travel, facilities and you'll have real room to question “why do we do it this way?” and make it better.
This is a full-ownership role. You won't be handed a checklist and told to execute - you'll be handed a problem area and trusted to run it end-to-end.
What You'll Own
- Vendor management: own relationships with HR vendors end-to-end, holding them accountable for performance and turnaround time and partner with the Jakarta legal team on vendor agreement renewals.
- New joiner setup: own the full onboarding experience ,onboarding kits, ID cards, biometric enrolment so day one actually feels like day one.
- Background verification: run BGVs end-to-end for new hires, chasing agencies and closing out discrepancies without letting them linger.
- Attendance tracking: track and reconcile attendance end-to-end, flagging and resolving discrepancies before they become payroll problems.
- Office infra & general affairs: manage office infrastructure and general affairs so the Bangalore office simply works quietly, reliably, every day.
- Travel requests & reimbursements: coordinate employee travel and run weekly reimbursement payments, working closely with the Jakarta Human Capital GA team to keep travel processes consistent across both hubs.
- HR letters: prepare experience letters, relieving letters so every employee leaves with a clean, respectful close-out.
- Reporting & insight: build out R&R, facetime, expense, and other people-analytics reports that give leadership a real read on what's happening.
- Benefits administration: run the programs employees actually notice -insurance, spot awards, and everything in between without a single dropped ball.
- Cross-border collaboration: work closely with the HR, legal, finance, and Human Capital GA teams in Jakarta to keep processes, data, and policies aligned across both hubs. This role sits at the India end of a two-country operation.
- Cross-functional stretch: jump into recruitment support when the team needs an extra hand ,we hire for range, not just a job description.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR operations or a similar people-facing role early in your career, but already comfortable owning a process end-to-end.
- A natural instinct for vendor management, process improvement, and clear communication — you notice inefficiency and want to fix it, not just flag it.
- Some exposure to travel coordination or facility management is a bonus, not a blocker.
- Sharp organisational instincts, a problem-solver's mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple threads without dropping any of them.
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine enjoyment of working closely with a team.
Your Benefits
- A dynamic, tech-forward, out-of-the-box-thinking environment at Halodoc.
- Comprehensive medical insurance benefits.
- A front-row seat to how HR operations scale at one of Southeast Asia's leading healthtech companies.
- A chance to be part of a company revolutionising healthcare access across Indonesia and beyond.
