Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Quality (NABH) to support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality and patient safety initiatives across the hospital. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of NABH 6th Edition Standards, Digital Health Standards (DHS), quality indicators, clinical audits, and accreditation requirements. The role involves coordinating quality programs, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of excellence, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the implementation and maintenance of NABH 6th Edition Standards, Digital Health Standards (DHS), and other quality initiatives across all departments.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, quality objectives, statutory regulations, and accreditation requirements.
- Facilitate documentation management, including preparation, review, control, and periodic revision of policies, SOPs, protocols, manuals, and forms.
- Monitor departmental compliance with NABH standards through regular rounds, inspections, and internal assessments.
- Collect, analyze, monitor, and report quality indicators, patient safety indicators, and key performance metrics.
- Coordinate internal audits, departmental audits, clinical audits, and quality improvement projects; track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
- Support incident reporting, sentinel event management, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of preventive actions.
- Conduct awareness sessions and training programs on NABH standards, patient safety goals, quality tools, infection control, and DHS requirements.
- Assist in NABH accreditation assessments, surveillance audits, and closure of non-conformities within stipulated timelines.
- Coordinate patient feedback analysis, grievance management, and service quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Digital Health Standards, including electronic medical records (EMR), data privacy, information security, documentation integrity, and digital workflow compliance.
- Prepare quality reports, presentations, dashboards, and management review data for leadership meetings.
- Promote continuous quality improvement practices and patient-centered care throughout the organization.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing / Master's Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Quality Management, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in NABH accreditation, hospital quality management, or healthcare quality assurance.
- Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of NABH 6th Edition Standards and Digital Health Standards (DHS).
- Experience in quality audits, accreditation processes, quality indicators, and CAPA management.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of patient safety, risk management, clinical audits, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital information systems (HIS/EMR).
