Brief Description: We are seeking a
Store Executive with hands-on experience in manufacturing units, preferably in mechanical or automotive industries. The candidate will be responsible for managing engineering inventory, ensuring uninterrupted material flow to production and maintaining accurate stock records within a plant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Receiving & Inspection
- Receive raw materials, engineering components, machine spares, and consumables from vendors
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders, technical specifications, and delivery challans
- Coordinate with Quality/Production teams for incoming inspection (if required)
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) in ERP system
2. Engineering Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory of mechanical parts, machine spares, tools, and consumables
- Ensure proper classification (RM, WIP, FG, MRO items)
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels to support production continuity
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and critical spare items
3. Material Issue to Production
- Issue materials strictly against authorized requisitions
- Ensure correct material identification (part number, specifications)
- Maintain traceability of issued materials in ERP/system
4. Store Operations (Manufacturing Environment)
- Ensure proper storage with correct binning, tagging, and codification
- Follow FIFO / FEFO methods
- Handle heavy/technical materials safely
- Maintain 5S standards and safety compliance
5. Stock Audit & Control
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification
- Reconcile physical vs system stock
- Maintain Bin Cards, Stock Registers, and ERP accuracy
6. Documentation & ERP Handling
- Maintain documents: GRN, Issue Slips, Bin Cards, Stock Registers, Purchase Requisitions
- Work on ERP systems (SAP / Tally / others) and MS Excel
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Purchase, and Quality teams
- Follow up with vendors for pending supplies
- Ensure timely material availability
8. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe handling of materials
- Follow plant safety guidelines
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification:
- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.Com / BBA
- Certification in Material Management (preferred)
Experience:
- 5+ years in manufacturing plant stores (Mechanical / Automotive industry)
- Hands-on experience with engineering items and machine spares
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components and tools
- ERP knowledge (SAP preferred) and MS Excel
- Understanding of inventory control techniques
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- High attention to detail

- Candidates with only warehouse/logistics/FMCG experience will not be considered
- Preference for manufacturing, mechanical, or automotive industry candidates
