Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant with Articleship experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and financial record management. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and book entries.
- Prepare and process sales, purchase, and journal vouchers.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Deduct and file TDS returns as per statutory requirements.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements.
- Verify invoices, bills, and expense claims.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support internal audits and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- Articleship experience (CA Articleship preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
