The CNC & VMC Cutting Tools Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling CNC and VMC cutting tools to manufacturing industries, machine shops, and production units. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, providing technical support, and achieving sales targets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new customers in CNC/VMC machining industries.
- Promote cutting tools such as inserts, holders, end mills, drills, taps, boring tools, and tool holders.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and present quotations to customers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and close sales orders.
2. Technical Support & Application Assistance
- Understand customer machining requirements and recommend suitable cutting tools.
- Provide basic technical guidance on tool selection, cutting parameters, and tool life improvement.
- Coordinate with application engineers for trials and demonstrations.
- Support customers in improving productivity and reducing machining costs.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular follow-ups with existing customers.
- Resolve customer complaints related to tool performance.
- Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy accounts receivable.
- Build long-term business relationships.
4. Market Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Identify new market opportunities and industry segments.
5. Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams such as warehouse, logistics, and accounts.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to customers.
- Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, product launches, and technical seminars.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in industrial sales (preferably CNC/VMC cutting tools).
- Strong knowledge of machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling, and tapping.
- Own Vehicle(Bike) mandatory
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
- Languages preferred - Tamil & English.
