We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Furniture Draftsman to join our luxury furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will convert approved furniture designs into accurate, production-ready technical drawings that can be used directly by carpenters, upholsterers, metal fabricators, and the production team.
The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of furniture construction, manufacturing processes, materials, hardware, and joinery, with the ability to produce precise shop drawings that ensure smooth production and exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed production and shop drawings for luxury furniture.
- Convert approved design concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings.
- Create dimensioned plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
- Produce exploded assembly drawings where required.
- Specify materials, finishes, veneers, upholstery, hardware, and construction details.
- Prepare cutting lists and material schedules.
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Modify drawings based on design revisions and workshop feedback.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company quality standards and manufacturing capabilities.
- Assist in developing standard construction details and drawing templates.
- Support CNC programming requirements by preparing accurate CAD drawings when needed.
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation.
Pay: ₹10,198.90 - ₹37,613.33 per month
