Pollocks School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Computer Teacher . The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about technology, possess excellent classroom management skills, and be able to make computer learning engaging and interactive for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to Primary level School students .
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
- Introduce students to computer fundamentals, typing skills, digital literacy, coding basics, and internet safety.
- Conduct practical computer lab sessions and ensure proper usage of computer equipment.
- Assess students' performance through assignments, projects, and periodic assessments.
- Maintain accurate student records and prepare progress reports.
- Integrate technology into classroom learning using interactive teaching methods.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Support school initiatives and extracurricular activities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. (Computers), or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Internet applications, computer fundamentals, and basic programming concepts suitable for primary students.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching young children and fostering digital learning.

- Familiarity with smart classrooms and educational technology tools.
- Creative, patient, and student-focused approach to teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
