The Role: Tactical Media Operative
We are seeking a high-energy, camera-confident Video Editor & Content Creator to become the digital face and visual voice of WhyCI. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end production of our media architecture, transforming highly technical intelligence, mock phishing drills, and security concepts into sharp, cinematic, and high-retention video content. You will own our video output from the initial script to the final render.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Camera Presenting: Act as the primary on-camera face and presenter for WhyCI digital media, translating complex tactical topics into clear, engaging audience briefings.
- Short-Form Production: Concept, script, shoot, and edit high-retention Reels and Shorts for LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Long-Form Video Editing: Edit deep-dive YouTube videos, masterclasses, and corporate mini-documentaries with a strong focus on storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention.
- Event & Field Coverage: Travel to client locations and critical infrastructure sites to film live mock drills, capturing high-pressure corporate training environments.
- Post-Production Management: Handle comprehensive post-production workflows including multi-cam editing, sound design, music synchronization, motion graphics, and color grading.
- Trend Tracking: Actively research social media algorithms, formatting shifts, and viral visual styles to maintain WhyCI’s competitive edge.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in professional editing suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, alongside mobile apps like CapCut or VN.
- Camera Confidence: Exceptional verbal communication and a natural, authoritative presence in front of a camera.
- Language Fluency: Professional proficiency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (required for corporate and regional event shoots).
- Production Knowledge: Basic understanding of frame composition, lighting setups, and field audio recording.
- Portfolio Requirement: A proven track record demonstrated through a portfolio or link to past video edits (Short-form and Long-form).
