North Willow Consulting is hiring for one of our prestigious clients, a reputed organization in the Fashion & Design Education sector.
We are looking for a smart, confident, articulate and result-driven Academic / Admission Counsellor who understands the creative education ecosystem and can effectively counsel students and parents while driving successful admissions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
✔ Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career pathways and admission procedures.
✔ Understand students’ interests, aptitude and career aspirations and guide them towards the most suitable programs.
✔ Handle enquiries generated through calls, walk-ins, digital leads, referrals and other channels.
✔ Build strong rapport with prospective students and parents through effective counselling.
✔ Conduct consistent follow-ups and convert qualified enquiries into successful admissions.
✔ Explain course curriculum, eligibility, fee structure and career prospects confidently and accurately.
✔ Maintain proper records of enquiries, follow-ups and admission status.
✔ Work towards achieving assigned admission and conversion targets.
✔ Coordinate with academic, marketing and administrative teams for a seamless admission experience.
✔ Participate in admission drives, counselling sessions, exhibitions, workshops and student outreach initiatives whenever required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
✔ Graduate / Diploma in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Fashion Management, Textile Design, Apparel Design, Fashion Communication or other relevant Design/Creative disciplines strongly preferred.
✔ Prior experience in Academic Counselling, Admission Counselling, Student Counselling, Admissions or Education Sales will be strongly preferred.
✔ Candidates currently or previously associated with reputed Fashion, Interior Design, Design or Creative Education Institutes will have a distinct advantage.
✔ Excellent communication skills in English, Bengali and Hindi are mandatory.
✔ Strong counselling, persuasion, presentation and interpersonal skills.
✔ Excellent follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
✔ Must be comfortable working in a target-oriented admissions environment.
✔ Confident, presentable and professional, with the ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents.
Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate; commensurate with experience and suitability.
