1. Vendor & Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for turf materials (artificial grass, infill, shock pads, adhesives).
- Source lighting materials (LED floodlights, etc).
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely supply.
- Compare quotations and prepare supplier evaluation reports.
2. Material Procurement
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) based on site/project requirements.
- Ensure correct specifications for:
- Artificial turf systems
- Base materials (aggregates, sand, etc)
- Sports equipment (goal posts, netting)
- Lighting fixtures and electrical accessories
- Track order status and coordinate delivery to project sites.
- Arrange urgent/local purchases when required.
3. Cost Control & Budget Monitoring
- Compare prices to get cost-effective deals.
- Monitor project budgets to avoid overspending.
- Maintain cost sheets for each turf and lighting project.
- Assist management in cost estimation and forecasting.
4. Inventory & Store Coordination
- Monitor stock levels of frequently used materials.
- Coordinate with storekeeper for material receipts.
- Verify quantity and quality of delivered goods.
- Maintain material inward/outward records.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.
- Maintain vendor contracts and agreements.
- Support audit requirements.
6. Coordination with Project Team
- Work closely with:
- Site engineers
- Project managers
- Accounts department
- Ensure materials are delivered as per project timelines.
- Resolve supply-related issues at site.
7. Logistics & Transportation
- Arrange transport for turf rolls, and heavy materials.
- Coordinate unloading at project sites.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery.
8. Market Research
- Track market price fluctuations of construction and electrical materials.
- Identify new products, technologies, and suppliers.
- Analyze competitor pricing trends.
