Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to handle electrical maintenance activities, ensure smooth operation of electrical systems, and minimize equipment downtime. The candidate will be responsible for preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and monitor electrical panels, motors, transformers, control panels, and machines.
- Handle installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of PLC panels, VFDs, sensors, and automation systems.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production teams to support uninterrupted operations.
- Follow electrical safety standards and company safety procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential electrical issues.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and improve equipment efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial equipment.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical circuits and control panels.
- Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, relays, and electrical components.
- Basic knowledge of PLC and automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and electrical standards.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in electrical maintenance (8 to 15 years preferred).
