JD for Founder’s Office: Intern
Job Overview:
As a Founder's Office intern, you will work closely with the Chief of Staff and executive team to drive key strategic initiatives, manage special projects, and support decision-making processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the inner workings of a high-growth startup and make a significant impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Assist in the development and execution of the company's strategic plans.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify growth opportunities and help formulate actionable strategies.
2. Project Management:
- Manage and execute cross-functional projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor project progress and report on outcomes and impact.
3. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Support financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare financial models, business cases, and performance reports.
- Analyse key metrics and KPIs to provide insights for business improvement.
- Employ statistical methods to validate trends and patterns, ensuring robust and reliable conclusions.
- Identify and analyse trends in customer behaviours, sales performance, and market dynamics to inform strategic planning.
- Use predictive analytics to anticipate market changes, customer needs, and potential operational challenges.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and validation processes.
4. Operational Support:
- Assist in optimizing operational processes and improving efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track operational performance.
- Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
5. Executive Support:
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents for the Founder and executive team.
- Facilitate executive meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up on action items.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a mediator between the Founder's Office and various departments.
- Represent the company in meetings and industry events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Students or recent graduates from Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Docs).
- Prior internship experience, startup exposure, or involvement in leadership roles/clubs is a plus.
- Proficiency in latest AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, n8n is a plus,
