Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
- Design and execute performance tests to validate application behaviour under complex use cases.
- Ensure application performance best practices are embedded in design and development.
- Identify performance impacts of interdependent services and applications.
Test Execution
- Develop and maintain component-level and major functionality tests using ATF, Tosca, or similar tools.
- Update and create performance test scripts to reflect new feature development.
- Simulate large enterprise environments using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or Akamai CloudTest.
Test Analysis & Troubleshooting
- Track and analyse performance metrics to evaluate product quality.
- Use logs (e.g., Splunk), monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, DataDog), and stakeholder input to identify root causes of performance issues.
- Present performance test data and insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner with Developer Leads, Architects, and Product Teams to ensure technical and operational models meet system and business requirements.
- Align testing efforts with platform architecture and cross-functional delivery goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multiple platforms and integrations.
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator.
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
- Advanced training in agile, product, or software engineering methodologies.
