Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in Taekwondo, including current techniques and patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying skill levels.
- Prior coaching or teaching experience in martial arts or related fields is beneficial.
- Certification in Taekwondo (e.g., black belt or higher) is typically required.
- First aid and CPR certification to ensure student safety during training.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that enhance students' understanding of Taekwondo techniques and forms.
- Instill discipline, respect, and sportsmanship in students through instruction and mentorship.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
- Organize and manage training sessions, competitions, and seminars.
- Ensure a safe training environment, adhering to relevant safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents about progress and areas for improvement.
- Keep up to date with new techniques and industry standards through continuous education.
