Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible installation engineer to install, configure, test, and support electronic/home appliance equipment at customer locations. The candidate should ensure proper installation, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission products/equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct site inspection before installation when required.
- Ensure proper functioning and testing after installation.
- Explain product usage and basic maintenance to customers.
- Attend service calls related to installation issues.
- Coordinate with the service team and warehouse for materials and spare parts.
- Maintain installation reports, job sheets, and customer acknowledgements.
- Follow company safety procedures and technical guidelines.
- Update installation status in CRM/software on a daily basis.
- Handle customer queries professionally and provide timely resolution.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper condition.
Required Skills
- Technical knowledge in installation and servicing.
- Basic electrical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer handling ability.
- Ability to work independently and travel locally.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related field.
- Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
Experience
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in the installation/service field preferred.
- Experience in home appliances, electronics, or authorized service centers is an added advantage.
Working Conditions
- Field work and customer site visits required.
- Flexible to travel within assigned locations.
