Job Title: Accountant (Work From Home – Night Shift)
Working Hours: 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM (IST)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift: Night Shift (aligned with Canadian office hours)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role requires working during night hours in India to support our Canadian operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and management as required
- Handle data entry and maintain proper documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable working night shifts (Canadian office hours)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with international clients (Canada/USA)
- Knowledge of GST, bookkeeping, and payroll processing
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
