Job Summary
A Restaurant Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. She creates the first and last impression of the restaurant by providing friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.

Greet guests warmly upon arrival
Smile and maintain positive body language
Answer guest questions politely
Thank guests when leaving
2. Reservations & Seating
Manage bookings and walk-ins
Maintain waiting list
Allocate tables efficiently
Escort guests to tables and provide menus
3. Coordination
Inform servers about new arrivals
Communicate with kitchen/service staff
Balance table rotation to avoid delays
4. Front Desk Management
Answer phone calls and take reservations
Handle takeaway/delivery inquiries (if applicable)
Maintain cleanliness of reception area
5. Customer Handling
Manage complaints calmly
Provide wait-time estimates
Solve minor issues quickly
6. Appearance & Professionalism
Well-groomed and neat uniform
Stand straight and attentive
Maintain polite and soft communication

Good communication skills (English/local language)
Friendly personality
Basic computer knowledge (POS/reservation system)

✅ Education & Experience
10th / 12th / Diploma / Hotel Management preferred
Freshers or 1–2 years hospitality experience
Training provided by restaurant/hotel
