About the Role
Shivaay is looking for a highly skilled and creative Content Writer with an excellent command of English and a strong understanding of branding, storytelling, copywriting, and social media content.
The ideal candidate should be able to think independently, understand a brand’s voice and target audience, and create original content that builds brand value, trust, engagement, and a strong digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging scripts and concepts for Instagram Reels, short-form videos, and social media content.
- Create strong hooks, storytelling concepts, captions, brand messaging, promotional content, and marketing copy.
- Understand the brand, target audience, products/services, and communication style before creating content.
- Develop creative content that strengthens the brand’s identity, positioning, and overall communication.
- Generate fresh and original content ideas independently.
- Write clear, grammatically correct, natural, engaging, and persuasive English.
- Research relevant topics when required and convert information into interesting and easy-to-understand content.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, style, and brand voice across all content.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to develop effective content ideas and campaigns.
- Stay updated with social media trends, content formats, audience behaviour, and emerging storytelling techniques.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent command of written English and grammar.
- Prior experience in content writing, copywriting, social media content, or scriptwriting.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and short-form video content.
- Excellent creative thinking and the ability to develop ideas from scratch.
- Understanding of consumer psychology and audience behaviour.
- Strong storytelling and brand-building skills.
- Ability to understand and adapt to different brand voices and communication styles.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and use your own creativity and judgment.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of language, tone, and presentation.
Important Requirement – Original Content Creation
We are specifically looking for a writer who can create content using their own thinking, research, creativity, and writing ability.
AI-generated content is not acceptable for this role. Candidates should be comfortable developing original ideas and producing content independently without relying on ChatGPT or other AI writing tools.
