Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Incharge to lead the installation, assembly, commissioning, and execution of conveyor system projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of conveyor assembly, site execution, manpower management, and project coordination while ensuring timely project completion with the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise conveyor assembly line projects from start to completion.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase and Site teams for smooth project execution.
- Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of conveyor systems at customer locations.
- Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Lead and supervise technicians, fitters and electricians.
- Monitor project progress and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and project specifications before execution.
- Coordinate with clients regarding project status, installation schedules, and technical requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain daily project reports.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, tools, and materials.
- Handle project documentation, installation reports, and handover documents.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Experience in conveyor assembly, installation, and commissioning.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Excellent project planning and execution skills.
- Team leadership and manpower management experience.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and client coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and project documentation.
