About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Shopify Developer / Shopify Expert to join our team in Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores while ensuring high performance, excellent user experience, and conversion-focused functionality. The candidate should be capable of independently managing end-to-end Shopify development projects and delivering scalable e-commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores based on business requirements.
- Create and modify custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Customize existing Shopify templates and implement new features and functionalities.
- Integrate and configure third-party Shopify applications and plugins.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and overall user experience.
- Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly design across all devices and browsers.
- Work closely with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to implement enhancements and campaigns.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping solutions, and Shopify APIs as required.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Implement SEO-friendly development practices to improve search engine visibility.
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements for higher conversions and customer engagement.
- Maintain website security, functionality, and regular updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Shopify Development
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP
- Excellent command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience in custom Shopify theme development and customization
- Understanding of Shopify app integration and API implementation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage complete Shopify store development independently
Preferred Skills
- Experience with payment gateway integrations
- Knowledge of Shopify Plus features (preferred)
- Familiarity with e-commerce best practices
- Understanding of SEO-friendly coding standards
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques
Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Proven experience working on e-commerce websites and Shopify projects.
