Reports To: Chief Operations Officer (COO) / Business Owner
Role Purpose
The Operations Executive will oversee and manage day-to-day operational activities at Glassentials, ensuring smooth coordination between supply, installation, CRM, and client delivery processes. This role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency, implementing SOPs, tracking performance metrics, and supporting business expansion initiatives in the architectural glass and mirror industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee daily operations including glass/mirror aggregation, supply scheduling, and installation coordination
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, SOPs, and process improvements
- Coordinate across departments (supply, installation, CRM, finance) for seamless workflow
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues
Resource & Vendor Management
- Manage resource allocation (staff, materials, logistics) for optimal efficiency
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support procurement processes: order tracking, invoice verification, vendor liaison
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery timelines, installation quality, cost efficiency
- Prepare weekly/monthly operational reports for senior management
- Track BOQ/quotations execution and GST-ready estimate compliance
CRM & Lead Management Support
- Collaborate with CRM team to ensure accurate lead tracking and customer data management
- Support implementation of Odoo ERP for operational and customer management
- Ensure timely follow-ups and customer communication per SOPs
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements
- Support audit activities and compliance checks
- Maintain accurate operational records, logs, and documentation
Business Growth Support
- Assist in planning and executing business expansion initiatives
- Provide operational inputs for financial performance monitoring
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction
Qualifications & ExperienceAspectRequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred)Experience2–4 years in operations management, preferably in construction, manufacturing, supply chain, or glass/facade industryTechnical SkillsProficiency in MS Excel, Odoo ERP (or similar CRM/ERP), Google Suite, quotation/BOQ draftingIndustry KnowledgeUnderstanding of architectural glass/mirror products, installation processes, GST compliance, and BOQs is highly advantageousSoft SkillsStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and attention to detailLanguagesFluent in English and Hindi; Gujarati is a plusKey Skills Required
