Designation : Assistant Manager
Level : L3
Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka , India (BLR)
Experience : 5 to 8 Years
Job Role :
We're looking for someone who sits at the intersection of engineering and communication — someone who
understands how systems are built and can turn that understanding into whitepapers, patent filings, technical
articles, and IP documentation that land with both engineering and business audiences.
You'll be embedded in a team building AI-powered marketing automation platforms, giving you first-hand
exposure to production full-stack systems, GenAI workflows, and LLM integrations. Your job is to capture
and articulate the thinking behind that work.
This is an equal-split role — half your time is engineering contribution (reading code, participating in design
discussions, prototyping ideas, run and maintenance of existing tools), and half is producing high-quality
written output that represents the team's technical thinking internally and externally.
What You'll Do
Technical Writing & Thought Leadership
- Author whitepapers, technical POVs, and business-facing articles on full-stack engineering and
AI/LLM topics — architectural decisions, emerging trends, and best practices
- Write engineering blog posts and external-facing content that makes complex systems accessible
without sacrificing technical accuracy
- Translate system design discussions, architecture reviews, and code into clear, structured
documentation
- Maintain and evolve internal knowledge bases, runbooks, and API documentation IP Documentation & Patent Filing
- Identify and document patentable ideas and novel technical approaches arising from team engagements
- Work with engineers to structure invention disclosures clearly and completely
- Partner with legal and IP teams through the patent filing process
- Maintain an IP pipeline — tracking ideas from initial identification through filing Research & Paper Writing
- Support paper writing and research documentation for novel approaches in GenAI, agentic workflows, and full-stack architecture
- Monitor relevant research and industry publications to inform internal POVs and keep the team's thinking current Engineering Participation
- Read and understand production code, system designs, and architecture diagrams
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to extract documentable insights
- Build lightweight prototypes or POCs where needed to support written content
What You Need to Succeed
Required
- 3–6 years of experience in a technical writing, developer relations, or engineering role with a
significant writing component
- Solid engineering foundation — you can read code, follow a system design conversation, and
understand distributed systems concepts without needing them translated
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly for both technical (engineers, architects) and non-technical
(business, leadership) audiences — a portfolio or writing samples are required
- Familiarity with full-stack concepts: APIs, frontend/backend architecture, distributed systems,
microservices
- Familiarity with AI/LLM topics: RAG, agents, prompt engineering, model evaluation, vector
databases
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
preferred — equivalent practical experience in a technical domain will be considered
Nice to Have
- Prior experience contributing to or filing patent applications
- Published technical articles, blog posts, or conference papers — share links if available
- Exposure to Ad Tech, marketing automation, or data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks)
- Familiarity with documentation tools (Confluence, Notion, GitBook) and docs-as-code workflows
- Experience working in or alongside an engineering team (not just writing about engineering from the
outside)
Required skills :
