Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer with 8–10 years of professional experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, execution, and maintenance of MEP systems in hotel, resort, or similar hospitality projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, review, and oversee installation of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for MEP works.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and standards.
- Ensure all systems meet local codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction and post-installation phases.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Support maintenance and facility teams in operational efficiency and system optimization.
- Implement energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions tailored for hospitality environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in MEP engineering.
- Strong preference for candidates with hospitality (hotels/resorts) project experience.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in luxury hotel or large-scale hospitality projects.
- Knowledge of green building standards (LEED or equivalent).
- Experience in both project execution and facility management within hospitality.
