As an SDE 3, you won’t just code—you’ll design systems that scale across warehouses, regions, and business verticals.
What You’ll Own
-
Architect, design, and develop large-scale distributed backend systems using js, Java Spring Boot, and Python
-
Lead module design across WMS, billing, and shipment orchestration systems
-
Own service decomposition, data modeling, and performance scaling decisions
-
Guide API design, microservice boundaries, event-driven communication, and database schemas
-
Collaborate with engineering leads, product managers, and DevOps to ship scalable and resilient features
-
Mentor SDE 1s and SDE 2s through design reviews, performance tuning, and hands-on problem solving
-
Drive engineering best practices including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and error handling
Tech Environment You’ll Be Driving

Backend: js, Java Spring Boot, Python

Messaging/Event Bus: Kafka, SQS, SNS

Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

Infra: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3)

Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, ELK Stack

CI/CD: GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible
Must-Have Skills
-
5–8 years in backend engineering with deep hands-on experience in at least one of Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), or Python
-
Strong experience in system design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven communication
-
Hands-on experience with large-scale DB design—SQL and NoSQL both
-
Proven track record of leading modules or products, not just features
-
Expertise in debugging production-grade issues in containerized environments
-
A solid grasp of performance bottlenecks, caching strategies, queues, and failure handling
Bonus Points If You Have

Domain experience in logistics, warehousing, or billing systems
-
Designed modules involving order lifecycle management, invoicing, inventory sync, or SLA tracking
-
Experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design), CQRS, or event sourcing
-
Led engineering efforts in a product company or B2B SaaS platform
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preference for candidates with a strong foundation in systems architecture and distributed computing.
