Job Summary:
The Automobile Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the service department to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality customer service, and profitability. This role is responsible for managing service advisors, technicians, and support staff; maintaining customer satisfaction; ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards; and driving service revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Setup: Install, configure, and test equipment, machinery, or systems as required.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventive maintenance tasks, repair malfunctioning equipment, and troubleshoot issues.
- Technical Support: Provide assistance to users or team members in resolving technical problems or issues.
- Monitoring and Diagnostics: Monitor the performance of equipment, identify faults, and conduct diagnostic tests to pinpoint issues.
- Documentation: Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory for tools and equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, managers, and other team members to ensure that equipment is operating at optimal levels.
- Upgrades and Replacements: Assist with system upgrades and replacements as needed, ensuring minimal downtime.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or IT systems (depending on the field).
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail when diagnosing problems and making repairs.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, as well as perform manual tasks.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is often preferred, but entry-level positions may also be available.
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Certification or degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., electronics, mechanical engineering, information technology).
- Having experience in Security Surveillance such as CCTV Setup Installation & Fire alarm, Fire Fighting, etc.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
