Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospitality business to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient service delivery, and profitability. This role involves managing staff, maintaining service standards, and optimizing operational processes.
Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, etc.)
- Ensure smooth functioning of all services and facilities
- Monitor occupancy, reservations, and service flow
2. Team Leadership
- Hire, train, and supervise staff
- Schedule shifts and manage workforce productivity
- Maintain high team morale and discipline
3. Guest Experience
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain service quality standards
4. Financial Management
- Monitor budgets, costs, and revenue
- Control expenses and improve profitability
- Analyze financial reports and KPIs
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Follow local laws and hospitality regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols
6. Process Improvement
- Develop and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Identify areas for operational improvement
- Use technology to streamline processes
Required Skills & QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
Experience
- 2-3 years in hospitality operations (hotel, or resort)
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred
