Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of EHV electrical systems for data center projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, data center infrastructure, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.
- Design EHV substation electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and backup power systems.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Work with consultant/ EPCs for developing and reviewing designs
- Development of concept designs, layouts, SLDs and protection schemes of EHV substations
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on EHV substations with knowledge on data center projects and power systems studies with etap/ PSCAD/ power plants.
- Knowledge and Proficiency in electrical design software etap and others
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, SBC, IEEE, NFPA etc.).
- Experience with power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
