QA Automation Tester (2 Years Experience)Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester with 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications by designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to gain a clear understanding of application functionality and test requirements.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with established QA processes, standards, and best practices to deliver high-quality software releases.
- Continuously improve testing strategies by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or other automation tools and frameworks.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar.
- Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
